Beginner's Watercolour Painting Class

Description
In this three hour watercolour class, you will learn the basic techniques of painting with watercolour and how to apply them to the style of painting you would like to explore.
The first hour will be spent learning different watercolour techniques and how traditional and contemporary artists apply these techniques to their artworks.
You will then get a chance to create your own watercolour works in the style that you prefer. (Styles could include: traditional landscape, still life, botanical and contemporary watercolour styles).
Halfway through the class, we will break for some tea and snacks (please let me know if you have any dietary requirements).
What to bring
- Watercolour paints
- A palette
- Water jar
- Paint brushes
- 2B pencil
- Eraser and watercolour paper.
*Watercolour supplies can be purchased at any art shop, but can also be added at an additional cost of $25 on top of the class price. Your teacher can supply materials for you for the duration of the class (please let me know at the time of booking if you would like to purchase the supplies from her).

- A finished piece that they will get to take home!
All day parking is available in the car park directly across from the Convent on St Heliers Street. The machines accept credit cards, notes and gold coins. Funds from the car park go towards the restoration and daily operation of the Convent, and also support our neighbours, the Collingwood Children’s Farm :)

Giving other‘s an appreciation for watercolour painting through private and group watercolour classes. Offering beginners classes, advanced classes, private classes and open studio group sessions.
Your Teacher
Tash is a Naarm/Melbourne based artist whose practice mainly focuses on exploring the concept of femininity and the female form, using vibrant colours, layered watercolour paint and circular shapes; and have over 10 years experience painting with watercolours. I base my practice out of my cozy studio in the Parslow Street Artist Studios located in Clifton Hill.
Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
- A refund can be requested 1 day before class starts. Free of charge.
- A transfer can be requested 1 day before the class starts. Free of charge.
- A credit note can be requested 10 hours before the class starts. Free of charge.
No changes will be allowed after these times.
Terms & Conditions
Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Tash Jackson Art or organised by Tash Jackson Art must agree to these terms and conditions.

I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Tash Jackson Art
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Tash Jackson Art unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Tash Jackson Art classes and events or on Tash Jackson Art premises. (For use of Tash Jackson Art marketing materials).
