01 November 2016 • Beginners Crochet Workshop (Brisbane)

I felt that this class was taught with thread that was way too fine for beginners which made it very difficult to pick up the skills. I have lots of crochet pieces at home and all have been made with much thicker thread than we used. I have since watched online tutorials on beginners crochet using a normal size thread and have have found it much easier than the class was. Although the instructor kept persisting with me, unfortunately I found the class very frustrating. I wouldn't recommend this class for beginners. I think it is more designed for people interested in intricate work and embroidery.
