Beginner Amigurumi Workshop
Description
For those that want to step up their crochet journey and venture into the art of Amigurumi (crochet toys), this class is for you!
You will learn how to crochet in the round with a magic ring, to make your first crochet toy. We will cover increases, invisible decreases, how to change colours, how to stuff your creation and close off invisibly.
Note: we encourage you to be comfortable with a single crochet before joining this class. If you are a beginner please let us know, we are happy to cover basics, but just note you wont have your bee completed by the end of class
What you will learn
- Start your crochet toy making adventure - learn to crochet in the round!
- Learn the magic ring, increases, decreases, colour changes, stuffing, closing and stitching parts together
What you will get
- Small class sizes so you get hands on help while you create your first toy plus a cheat sheet to take home
- Tea & Coffee provided
- Option to purchase your materials for the class
Parking available on Bridge Road and surrounding streets.
What to bring
- 3mm crochet hook, snip scissors, and stitch markers (or safety pins)
- DK or 8ply yarn (cotton or acrylic) in 3 colours (for a bee)
- Option to purchase a supplies kit if needed

Stef is the owner of House of Handmade with a serious crochet obsession.
She has been crocheting for 9 years and teaching for 3 with her side hustle 'Archer & Me', specialising in amigurumi.
All our teachers have working with children's checks.
Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
- A refund can be requested 7 days before class starts. An admin fee of AU$5.00 applies.
- A transfer can be requested 3 days before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$5.00 applies.
- A credit note can be requested 3 days before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$5.00 applies.
No changes will be allowed after these times.
Terms & Conditions
Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at House of Handmade Collective or organised by House of Handmade Collective must agree to these terms and conditions.

I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by House of Handmade Collective
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give House of Handmade Collective unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at House of Handmade Collective classes and events or on House of Handmade Collective premises. (For use of House of Handmade Collective marketing materials). Please note any photo's of children's faces will be blurred.
