Feeling a bit hesitant to hit the dance floor? Think your feet have a mind of their own? Fear not - get ready to groove and leave your inhibitions behind! Join the Sydney Swing Katz for an exciting dance class guaranteed to fill your days with fun and rhythm! In our beginner-friendly course, you'll master the fundamental steps of rock'n'roll with ease, all while building the confidence to shine on the social floor. So, ditch the nerves, dress comfortably, and leave your worries at the door - no partner required, just your willingness to dance your heart out!
It's recommended that beginners start in the first 3 weeks (30 Jan, 6 Feb or 13 Feb) or wait until the next beginners' block to start.
What you will learn

- Learn to lead or dance with a partner (but not required).
- Perfect the basic steps to popular Swing tunes.

The Sydney Swing Katz troupe was established in 2000 and is comprised of many talented, vibrant, young and enthusiastic dancers from Sydney, Australia. They have performed alongside some great musicians and artists such as The Beach Boys, John & James Morrison, The Bloody Beetroots, Lanie Lane, Belles Will Ring, United Dance Works (UDW), Ignatius Jones, Rhonda Burchmore, The Velvet Set & Monica Trapaga just to name a few. They also have earned the respect of their peers in the world of dancing through many years of competing and teaching.
Have fun learning how to dance Swing, Lindy Hop, Rock n Roll or Latin. We can help you no matter whether you want to social dance, get fit, compete or perform. No partner necessary.
Private lessons also are available on request, either at our studio or 'on the road' at a location convenient for you.

Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
You may cancel anytime before class starts and claim a full refund or transfer or credit note.

Terms & Conditions
Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Swing Katz or organised by Swing Katz must agree to these terms and conditions.
1.) LIABILITY WAIVER
I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Swing Katz.
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Swing Katz unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Swing Katz classes and events or on Swing Katz's premises. (For use of Swing Katz marketing materials).
