Pencil Drawing on Black Paper

Pencil Drawing on Black Paper

Drawing for kids aged 10-13

Description

In this three hour class students will learn how to draw using the grid method which is a technique used in art that involves dividing an image into a series of smaller, more manageable sections using a grid. A grid is typically drawn over the reference image, and then students use the grid to draw the image on their own piece of paper, carefully replicating each section of the grid. We will be using black and white coloured pencils on black paper, students will also learn how to hold an overhand pencil which makes shading easier and allows more control. Suitable for complete beginners to those with drawing experience. Students will complete at least one drawing which will be set into a frame.
