my daughter and I attended the bee workshop which we found extremely interesting, informative, and loved the interaction and making our first frame! Our company is going to have a hive on the roof top and this introduction gave us an excellent insight and understanding of how the bee world operates... incredibly well. Mark North Balwyn

The workshop was fantastic; a real homely feeling and structured very carefully in the progression from the physical qualities of bees through to the seasonal requirements of bee-keeping. The presenter was informative and well paced, as well as encouraging discussion and inviting queries. The physical set up had limitations and the interruptions of casual shoppers was a little distracting the staff and presenter worked around this factor professionally and respectfully. I had a mild interest in bee keeping when I attended but I now counting the days until Spring to begin my own set up--with full understanding of both the challenges and rewards in what I hope is a long term adventure. Like gardening I think this is n activity that keeps giving and maintains enthusiasm.
