22 November 2020 • Sewing Basics 3 Week Course for Beginners

Really great beginners class and Jen was amazing teacher. The class went over all the basics from setting up your machine to creating a different small project each week where there were many take away skills that will help with any other project I try now and definitely gave me the confidence to sew more at home. Looking forward to doing more classes with Thread Den. Also worth noting I booked into a class right around when we went into lockdown and the communication and customer service during that time classes had to be rearranged was top notch. Post lock down they are very Covid conscious and safe

Loved this course! Every week you learn a new technique and build on the last. As someone who has never sewed before i was suprised how well each weeks projects turned out, and will be looking for more courses to do online once i move interstate and cant make in person classes.

16 November 2020 • Sewing Basics 3 Week Course for Beginners

I loved these classes. I was given a sewing machine for my birthday and was so excited to use it but didn't know where to start. I thought I might sew a 'simple' shift dress pattern and learn as I went but holy moley, I'm so glad I took this course first. I'm now confident with a sewing machine, know how to sew in a zip (I can't imagine how hard that would have been without guidance) and have three really great little items that I made myself. Jen was a great, knowledgeable, patient teacher and the vibe at Thread Den is just lovely!
