Easter School Holiday Class: Japanese book binding - Mini Photo Album

Description

Kids & Teens will love creating a mini photo album while exploring the creative technique of Japanese book binding.

With all materials provided, learn what things can be used to create little paper books and diaries and explore creative options using unusual and recycled materials, too. We will be using paper, card, yarn and beads to sew up a small book in the Japanese style. Once you know the technique, you can make loads of different sizes and variations at home.

Kids can bring up to ten postcard sized printed photographs (4 inches x 6 inches) to make their book into a photo album that they are free to illustrate, and they have the option of decorating their book cover, too.

A fun half day workshop for kids and teens aged 8 years and up.

* Need a longer day? We have an afternoon workshop from 1pm-3.30pm, making dream catchers from scratch. Book both workshops and make sure to pack a nut-free lunch for your kid to have in between classes.

** Parents and carers are welcome to attend at kids prices with their child, simply book an extra ticket for yourself. Classes are taught at a kid-friendly pace.

Cancelation & Refund Policy

Cancellation policy

To ensure that every student receives plenty of attention and opportunities to ask questions during the class, we make it a priority to keep our class sizes small. Classes also require a minimum number of students to run.

For that reason, your enrollment in the class is final and cancellations will forfeit the full fee However, you can also transfer your place at that class to a friend or family member at no extra cost, just let us know.

So please double check your availability before making a booking as there will be no exceptions. If you do know in advance that you may be unavailable for a specific day of the class, please contact us prior to discuss. We may be able to accommodate you in an alternate class to make up for the missed class (this option is only available if confirmed at the time of booking.)

Missed Classes

We run small group classes, most of them sized between four to six students only. This means that our classes are usually fully booked. With prior arrangement (upon booking a class), we may be able to offer a make-up class at the teacher's discretion, given there is a space available in a parallel class.

However, we regret we do not offer make-up classes for missed classes in general, due to the small class size mentioned. If we did, we would have to change our business model to larger size groups, or significantly increase our prices to accommodate the extra students.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us to discuss.
