The Diamond Creek Edendale Community Revegetation Project
We welcome you to participate in our next working bee to support our ongoing revegetation project.
The project involves planting, monitoring and ongoing care. Looking after our plantings is essential to the long-term success of the project with around 2,400 indigenous tube stock planted over the last two years.
Location
- Meet at the north entrance to the Edendale Community Environment Farm opposite the pedestrian bridge to the playground.
- Look for the big blue Friends of Edendale banner
Booking
- If possible, please book in to help us plan the activities and notify you of any cancellations.
- However, drop-ins are always welcome.
- Children are most welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
Sun safety and snakes when working outdoors
- Please wear long pants (not leggings), sturdy footwear, socks, long-sleeved shirts, broad-brimmed hats, and sunscreen.
- If you see a snake, back away, alert others, and notify a staff member. Keep an eye on the snake from a safe distance.

While there is some parking available at the front of Edendale we would encourage you to investigate some more sustainable transport options including:

Some overflow parking may be available at Eltham North playground. Plan your visit

- Suitable clothing for working outdoors and a pair of gloves. Wet weather gear if appropriate.

Edendale is a Community Environment Farm on 6 hectares of land adjacent to the Diamond Creek in Eltham.
We are open 7 days a week 10am to 4.30pm.
Entry to the farm is by Donation at one of our electronic tap points around the farm.
Along with our animals, indigenous plant nursery, school environmental education program, events and workshops, Edendale plays an important role as a hub for the local community to learn and share ideas about sustainable living, caring for nature and climate action.

Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
You may cancel anytime before class starts and claim a full refund or transfer or credit note.
Terms & Conditions
Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Edendale Farm or organised by Edendale Farm must agree to these terms and conditions.
1.) LIABILITY WAIVER
I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Edendale Farm
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Edendale Farm unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs, videos or recordings taken at Edendale Farm classes and events or on Edendale Farm premises. (For use of Edendale Farm marketing materials).
Photos and videos recordings will not be taken of children without written permission from parents or guardians.
3.) REFUNDS
Edendale Farm requires 72 hours notice in writing prior to the class commencing for a refund, transfer or credit.
4.) CANCELLATIONS
In the event that a class is cancelled by Edendale Farm, students will be notified via text message or email and entitled to a full refund, transfer or credit.
