Hula-hoop class covers all the basics as well as some flourishes and tricks. We’ll get you rocking a hula‐hoop like a pro and having a great time while you do it. It’s an awesome way to sneak some fitness into your week.
The sessions include stance and saving a dropping hoop (darn you, gravity!), turning, and off-body options including heaps of ninja hand tricks.
Suitable for complete (and I mean COMPLETE) beginners and continuing hoopers alike. Got you covered.
Phoebe Linguini is a professional hoop-dancer keen to impart the ways of the hoop to you! A long-time dance enthusiast, she picked up the sport eight years ago and has been hooping ever since, attending international conferences and working hard to keep abreast of new developments in the art. She is an Australian Sports Commission accredited coach.
In her spare time you will find her sipping exotic tea from around the world, dreaming up new colour combinations for hoops and being moved by music wherever it is present.
