  • Workshop delivered personally by Australian Memory Record Breaker Chris Lyons. Over the last 10 years Chris has shown thousands of people how to double their reading speed and improve their memory through a unique range of public training courses and private coaching programs.

  • Chris has also been sought out to deliver memory and speed reading training for many large organisations including Boral, McGrath Real Estate, Bendigo Adelaide Bank, Gadens Lawyers, Vincents Chartered Accountants, the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, J.P.Morgan, Deutsche Bank, the Productivity Commission and the AFP.

  • An experienced trainer and facilitator, Chris has over 10 years' commercial experience gained in senior management roles in large Australian and UK companies before starting to design and deliver Gloo Training Programs in 2004.

About Christopher Lyons, Founder

Gloo Training Programs incorporate innovative memory improvement techniques and are designed and delivered personally by Christopher Lyons who doubled the Australian Memory Record in 2006 by reciting Pi to 4,400 places without error. In September 2008 Chris won the Australian Memory Championships Names competition by correctly memorising 46 people's names in just 5 minutes.

An experienced trainer and facilitator, Chris also has over 10 years' commercial experience gained in senior management roles in large UK and Australian companies, before starting to design and deliver memory, speed reading and study skills training programs in 2004.

Chris has appeared on The Today Show, A Current Affair, Today Tonight, ABC TV's Can We Help? and demonstrated how effective memory improvement techniques can be on radio stations all around Australia including 2UE, 2GB, 3AW and frequently on the ABC.

Cancelation & Refund Policy

Speed Reading Made Easy Public Workshop Booking Conditions

A small number of conditions apply when you book a place at the Speed Reading Made Easy public workshop. These are detailed below.

1. Changes To Bookings

If you are unable to attend the workshop on which you are booked and you let us know at least 7 days before the workshop, you are able to transfer your booking to a future date at no charge.

If you are unable to attend the workshop on which you are booked and you let us know less than 7 days before the workshop (or you don't let us know at all), we are unable to transfer your booking to a future date.

However you may allow someone else to attend in your place provided that you let us know their name and contact details at least 2 days before the workshop.

For all change requests please email us by clicking here. All requests will be actioned within 48 hours and often sooner.

2. Cancellations And Refunds

This is a special Discounted Rate booking and is therefore non-refundable. However you may transfer your Discounted Rate Booking to a future course date, or transfer your booked place to someone else, as described in the 'Changes' section above.

3. Minimum Numbers

We reserve the right to cancel a workshop up to 1 week before the start date should the number of booked participants be below the minimum number needed to run an effective workshop. Although unlikely, if such a situation occurs we will offer you a full 100% refund. Alternatively you have the option to transfer to an alternative date.

We also reserve the right, on occasion, to change the location of a workshop to a different venue within the same city. If this occurs we will let you know no later than 1 week prior to the date of your workshop and usually as soon as any such change occurs.
