*Please note, if you are gifting this workshop for Christmas and would like your materials kit by Christmas Day please order by Saturday 12th December. You can still purchase and gift the workshop after this date. The PDF and video link are sent within 48 hours, but your materials kit may not arrive in time.*

In this Hands On At Home workshop you will learn how to use beeswax to make your own beeswax food wraps.

This workshop features an 8 page PDF with photos, a video, and a materials kit. PDF and video link are emailed to you after purchase. Please read entire description for details.

This at home workshop will teach participants tips and tricks to get the best results for their wraps, the best fabrics to use and how to care for their new wraps. Workshop is on demand, when your kit arrives view your video, read the instructions and you are good to go.

We will supply a 100 gram block of beeswax blend and 4 pieces of fabric (random selection), plus an 8 page PDF and a short video guide. Your kit also includes a pre-made wrap for comparison.
*Your 100 grams of wax makes 6-10 wraps depending on size, we supply 4 pre-cut pieces of fabric. You can then use fabric from your stash, or buy some special fabrics. Fabric buying guide provided in the PDF.

You can add an additional materials kit to your purchase for $23. This gives you an extra kit of beeswax and fabric. Extra materials for yourself, or for a friend to craft with you.

Email support also provided for all of your Q's.

Choose to collect your materials from The Gardens Club (in Brisbane City) with the $40 ticket, or have them posted to you with the $48 ticket.

*This workshop is unsuitable for those who are allergic to bee products, pine products, coconut oil or jojoba oil.

What you need at home

  • An Oven
  • Baking tray
  • Baking Paper
  • Tongs
  • Grater (allocated for the purpose of grating beeswax)
  • Additional fabrics, we supply 4 pieces of fabric but your wax block will cover 6-10 pieces.

How your ticket works.  Choose your ticket type (pick up or posted). Our post option will post to anywhere within Australia.

**We will contact you within 48 hours of your ticket purchase to confirm details, including postal address if you are choosing that method. If you are collecting your order, you need ID, or to notify us of the person who is collecting your materials kit. Make sure you include the correct email address and phone number.

It may take us a few days to arrange for the pack to be available at The Gardens Club.

Your 4 provided pieces of fabric are; round 20cms diameter, round 25cm diameter, 20cm square and 27 cm square.


Please note, the number of tickets that you can choose from to purchase reflects the number of total tickets still available, if you cannot select multiple tickets it means there is only 1 ticket left for this workshop.

These workshops are conducted by some of Brisbane’s finest artisans to give you a hands on approach to learning your new skill. With many classes also providing the materials, all you need to do is turn up and start creating!

As we purchase materials based on the number of attendees for each workshop we are unable to refund tickets. We do welcome you to pass your ticket to a friend to come in your place. Please email us if you do wish to change the name on the ticket.

We do not refund if you change your mind.
You can transfer to another workshop up to 10 days before your original scheduled event.

Enclosed Footwear is required by participants at every workshop. Hands On Brisbane reserves the right to refuse entry to a workshop if the attendee is not wearing suitable attire.

Participants are required to sign a waiver at the workshop they attend. Participants are to follow instructions, safety precautions and advice when given.

Participants are required to arrive on time.  Our workshops will start on time.  If you are not attending on the day please contact Hands On Brisbane using the contact information in the mail out that is sent a few days before the event.  If you are unable to attend on the day please pass your ticket on to a friend.  As we prepare in advance for the number of attendees we are unable to offer you a refund.

If we cancel a workshop you will receive a refund.
