Description

We invite you to join two Melbourne based artists Isabel Nina Young and Lyndsey Knight for this exclusive double workshop at Hens Teeth Trading’s eclectic boutique space in the heart of Cobram.

In the morning you’ll learn our favourite watercolour techniques to paint beautiful, bold designs on high quality stretched 100% cotton watercolour paper, using delightful Australian bush posies as our inspiration. You'll treasure the truly personal art that you make and take home forever — or gift to someone you love.

Then, following a break for lunch, we’ll learn the fascinating process of indigo dying; creating patterns and designs on a 100% cotton scarf. You will learn how to apply the design to fabric by painting and block printing with cold wax to then dip into the dye bath, combined with folding techniques. The intricate results will astound you!

You'll love when admirers ask you where you got your scarf from and you can tell them you made it yourself.

Come on your own and meet fellow creatives, or bring a friend to this inclusive and impelling workshop.  We supply all the highest quality materials and they are included in the cost of this workshop.

Go home with your own 100% cotton scarf

Have you experienced how brilliant it is to wear clothes that you've made or designed yourself?

Have you ever seen the look on your loved one's face when you gift them with something truly beautiful and unique that you've spent hours making?

It's pure joy. You're going to go home with your new 100% cotton hand-dyed scarf, your watercolour masterpieces, all the instructions to recreate and pursue your new skills at home, and two bonus greeting cards.
