

Intro to Small Ceramic Sculptures
Description
Learn how to make small ceramic sculptures with Aoife Billings in this two hour class. Ideal for beginners, and those interested in trying out ceramics! Aoife will bring you through basic clay techniques specifically for small sculpture making, and help you design and create!
You will learn:
-The clay process
-How to use clay to make a sculpture
-How to use underglazes to decorate
Collection of work:
Your pieces will be fired and glazed by Aoife. You will be able to
pick up your pieces approximately two weeks after the class.
Your Teacher:
Aoife Billings (she/her) is a Narrm (Melbourne) based ceramist and painter. She has been teaching art workshops for various councils and at her own studio for over seven years. She is the workshop

Pink Ember Studio is a queer-run co-operative, creating spaces for artists to make work and be part of a community. We are a not-for-profit, encompassing workshops and classes to share skills in our community, a multimedia gallery space, and light filled open plan studio spaces.
We opened our doors in December 2018, and are striving towards making an exciting space in Coburg that supports artists and provides access to affordable art and learning opportunities. Concession rates are available for any First Nations folk who wish to partake in workshops.

LIABILITY WAIVE - Pink Ember will not be responsible for any damage, loss or theft incurred to personal property brought into Pink Ember’s premises.
PHOTO & VIDEO - Pink Ember has unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Pink Ember classes and events or on Pink Ember’s premises. (Let us know on the day if you don’t want to be photographed)
AGE RESTRICTION - Currently our workshops are only available for participants over the age of 18

To provide individual attention as much as possible to each participant, making sure you are getting the most out of your workshop experience.
We will be on time and attentive
We will endeavor to respond to customer enquiries or complaints within 24 hours
If for any reason we have to cancel a class, we will provide the customer with a full refund or credit to attend another workshop.
