Award winning chef Kylie Simpson is executive chef of Doughnut Time so we are incredibly lucky to have her work with Sauce and in this class she will show you all the steps and tips to create perfect macarons. Kylie has worked around the country as a pastry chef and has a reputation for baking that is second to none.

Kylie's classes are some of our best value because she is so generous with her knowledge - you will learn and learn and learn... and have lots of fun creatiing these classic treats.

You will learn how to make the meringue shell and then experiment with ganache fillings, learn to marry colour and taste to make a perfect macaron.

And... Not just macarons, Kylie will also take you through madeleines as well....

Come along on your own and make some new friends, or make a group get-together.  Our classes are great fun in a friendly atmosphere in our beautiful historic building.

Loved and learned

This was such a fun and laid back class and Kylie was so generous with her knowledge. Hands down the best cooking class I've ever been to!

The class was a bit crowded due to a cancellation class but we all had equal time in preparing the Macarons. Kylie gave us a lot of information to take home to try in our own time. It was fun trying to make the rows of Macarons (the same size) onto the trays with some success. I am interest in taking further classes.
