This lecture series looks at the history of art, beginning with Lecture 1: Cave painting to Banksy, an introductory overview into the timeline of painting. Subsequent lectures will take a more in-depth look into specific periods and movements. Each lecture runs for approximately 2 hours.

Lecture 2: The Functions of Art. Dealing with the big issues of love, death, celebration and illness.
Lecture 3: Modernism. 1870 - 1976

Geoff has been lecturing in art history for fifteen years. His lectures are an entertaining appreciation of the development of art and its movements, class discussion is encouraged.
