Yoga with Kate
These classes with Kate aim to be suitable for all levels as she aims to have a warm and inclusive atmosphere. Participants are encouraged through mindful movement practices to tune in to their unique bodies, notice how they are feeling on any particular day and to respond accordingly.
Classes include a combination of flowing and static shapes to assist in building strength and flexibility. Breathing, relaxation and mindfulness techniques aim to leave you feeling calm and centred, refreshed and renewed.
About your instructor:
Kate was inspired to do her Yoga teacher training in 2013 after experiencing the wonderful benefits of Yoga in her own life. As Kate began to incorporate a regular practice into her life she realised how different it is to other forms of exercise as it teaches mindfulness which translates into every aspect of your life.
She genuinely loves helping others to rediscover the connection between their mind, body and breath so that they are more mindful of the way they are moving through their day to day life. She believes Yoga helps people to honour and respect their bodies, to feel good about themselves and to appreciate and love what they have. Empowering people to have a fuller range of movement, increased flexibility and strength as they age.
Kate has also undertaken training in Pre and Post natal Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Structural Yoga Therapy and Anatomy with Jean Campbell, The Yoga of Sound (Nada Yoga) with Mei Lai Swan, Yogic Mindfulness and Yoga for Spinal Care, Senior First Aid and CPR
