3 hours

You can have too many earrings...said no one ever!

In this fun 3 hour workshop you will learn all about how to cast in resin, and come out of the class with at least 4 pairs of earrings.

The workshop will take you step by step through how to work with resin, which includes understanding the different types of resin, and very importantly, what safety precautions you need to take when working with resin.

You will learn how to use colour and the pigments and powders that are suitable to use with resin, and you will get to play around with the more creative casting techniques.

We will also cover hand-sanding techniques to give your pieces a quality finish.

This is a great class for earring lovers and those who want to learn about casting with resin.

About your teacher

Sydney based jeweller Nadine Sharpe, of labels Own Sweet Time & The Sharpe One, currently works with a range of creative spaces throughout NSW to deliver bespoke jewellery workshops.

With a Cert IV in Training and Assessment, Nadine has lots of training experience gained during her former career in corporate training.  This experience has given her strong training, coaching and mentoring skills, which she now happily applies in the creative context.

Nadine’s workshops are technique focused, packed with information, but still lots of fun.  She is beside you, working with you as you learn, not teaching from a distance and letting you struggle through.  You will come out of Nadine’s workshops with a solid foundation, supported by comprehensive notes on everything that is covered.

And, you’ll have fun!
