I absolutely loved the Vegan Cooking Italian class. It was such a fun experience and everyone was so lovely to work with- it really felt like you were cooking with family. Michelle was great in her explanation of how to do the dishes and she really made sure everyone had a real hands on experience and got involved straight away. The food was scrumptious and my non-vegan family loved the leftovers as well! Thank you Michelle for such a wonderful day! I can’t wait to try out the dishes at home for myself.

This was my first cooking class and I had the greatest time. The teacher Michelle was really knowledgeable about the recipes she was showing the class as well as offering to send the class more details on vegan recipes and where to purchase ingredients. The class all worked so well together to cook the dishes and best of all we got to sit down and enjoy them together as a group. Amazing to see adults and children there learning to cook vegan dishes, even if you aren't vegan it was a very welcoming and fun class to be apart of. I look forward to seeing Michelle's next cooking class, she did such an amazing job running it and letting everyone be included.

Good morning. The Vegan Italian Cooking class I attended was great. Teacher was very friendly and held the class smoothly. Apparently her first time. Menu's were supplied for the food we cooked. The group was a nice bunch of people. Overall the event was very enjoyable. Cooked the Risotto last night ready to make Arancini tonight. All food was lovely and easy to make. Side note : I did not receive an email to inform me to bring items (apron & empty containers) as it was the teacher had some spare containers. Ceres may need to check this for future events. Also, given the event was held in a kitchen, do Ceres have an OHS policy in place for guests that perhaps should be mentioned before the class by a staff member of Ceres. IE: covered shoes should be worn in a kitchen, etc..... something Ceres should review. Cheers Sarah

Hello Sarah

Thanks for taking the time to review the workshop. Glad to hear you enjoyed the day with Michelle.

I apologies that you were the only one in the class not to receive the information. It may have had something to do with the email address supplied. We include important instructions around wearing closed toe shoes, having hair tied back and include a map of CERES showing evacuation points and other safety information.
