Do you love burning candles? 

Whether a seasoned artisan or a budding enthusiast, this course offers something for everyone interested in learning the craft of candle making. This course will open up for you the amazing array of possibilities that exist in your pursuit to create beautiful, functional, and sweet smelling candles.

This class is a Live Stream Class Via Zoom 

As we are sending out kits this class is for Australian residents only. 

Our format will include the following:

We will send you a class candle making kit (valued at $50) as well as our Candle Making E-book and talk you through the whole candle making process in our live online class. Please make sure to check your confirmation for your E-Book attachment.

Please note: It is not a requirement to make your candles during the session. We prefer you watch and listen so you understand the process and then make your candles at your own pace so you don't feel rushed during the session.

The class is scheduled for 1 hour but we do always seem to run over time. We want you to feel comfortable in the whole process of candle making, so questions and answers are an important part of the learning process. This workshop  will be hosted by Frosa Katsis, the Founder Early Settler Aromatherapy.

We will be taking through wax selection and the differences, their MP, fragrance loads, discuss wick sizing and jar selection, safety and regulatory requirements.

In this workshop we will be using soy based waxes which may vary depending on availability. Supplies are varying at the moment due to Covid.

S100 pure soy, A05 cocoa soy, B808 beeswax soy, A27 pillar blend/tealight and M12 the newest wax 

Once we go through the process, we will give you a demonstration of the method we have developed and allow you to make your candles in your own time.

You will receive a  Candle Making Kit in the post ready for the class with: 

• 100 ml bottle of fragrance
• Instructional E-book
• 1 kg Soy wax
• 4 Jars, wicks, wick and safety stickers, wick centering sticks
• Stirrer

We will send out the kit prior to your  class if you have selcted this option.

Please allow at least 1 week for delivery of the kit.

Wick trimmers and Thermometers are available as merchandise to purchase.

We love soy candles and we love to teach the art of candle making, but this is not like other classes. We teach in a way that is simple to follow, without complicating the process with temperature concerns and without fuss.

That's not to say we don't worry about it, but there are simple methods that we can teach you that allows you to have your wax at the right temperature for melting, mixing and pouring. Everyone should have the opportunity to make these lovely candles. Why not join us?

Our classes are  comprehensive ands-on, so you get the experience in handling the wax. 

Yes, you will make mistakes at the start, but it's all about the learning. You will quickly become proficient using our method and will be making beautiful candles very quickly.

We will supply you with templates for wick sizing, fragrance blending charts, colour blending charts, lists of recommended suppliers and even a copy of our candle making workbook. And if you have queries after the class, we are more than happy to help.
