Description

A beautiful experience of grinding our own paint, and preparing our concertina artist books

before a short walk to the nearby giant mountain ash trees and river bank to record our

responses through drawing, painting and expressive mark making. This day is designed to

reconnect us into the making of the natural materials to make our impressions from

nature, and being open to impulse and avoiding self judgement in the drawing and painting

Parking Info

Disabled access is available at the rear of YAVA, enter via Furmston Lane.  Otherwise suggested parking locations are:

- Coles carpark (3 hours)

- Furmston Lane (all day parking)

- River St Carpark (all day parking, access via Green St)

- Taber Lane (all day parking)

- other street parking, just check the signs.

Find us from the main street, near the pedestrian crossing, up the stairs inbetween Country Smart and KG (see our balcony upstairs)


What to bring

  • • Please bring suitable shoes and clothes for walking out doors for a few hours
  • .Something to lean on ( A4 size or longer is fine)

What to wear

eg casual clothing, eg clothes you don’t mind getting messy

This class is suitable for artists of all abilities and is a great introduction to using acrylic paints

Antonia Green (born 1983, Melbourne, Australia) works with painting, printmaking, drawing and collage. The themes of her work span from the environment to cultural history and collective imagination.Antonia draws inspiration from seeking out surreal and isolated wilderness locations.

Cancellations & Refunds

If the organiser cancels the class:

You are entitled to a full refund.

If you can't attend the class:

  • A refund can be requested 2 days before class starts. An admin fee of AU$5.00 applies.
  • A transfer can be requested 2 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
  • A credit note can be requested 2 days before the class starts. Free of charge.

No changes will be allowed after these times.
