Investing can be scary (especially as a young adult), but don’t fret, SkilledSmart is here to help! They’ve organised an amazing panel of speakers to talk to you about all things investing! And like we said, don’t worry: This is not an event for sophisticated-investors-in-stuffy-suits. Beginners and intermediates are welcome!

If you’ve ever felt like you should probably start investing in shares, but you’re not too sure where to start — you’ll want to be in on this. Or maybe you’ve started but honestly, you don’t really know what you’re doing? Or maybe you just need a refresher on some of the basics. No matter what your experience (or inexperience!) with investing is if you have any interest in investing, this event is for you (and, like, every other millennial, so bring your buds). We’re going to talk about how the investing landscape has changed, how millennials can get started, what are some things to look out for and much, much more!

Speakers for the event include (drum roll please):

Chris is Australia’s first digital investment (“Robo”) adviser and has over 21 years of investment experience. He spent most of his career as a Portfolio Manager at UBS. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the UNSW, and is a member of the ASIC Digital Advisory Committee.
